While BORDERPOL does not engage in activities of a commercial character, we are committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of personal information in a manner that meets or exceeds the requirements of Federal and Provincial privacy laws.
BORDERPOL only collects personal information concerning our members in order to distribute our messages and bulletins regarding the association and the activities we conduct on their behalf.
The BORDERPOL collects personal information directly from our members, or from our patrons or sponsors. We limit the personal information we maintain on file about our members to names and addresses.
BORDERPOL only uses personal information to mail BORDERPOL publications. BORDERPOL and our event Director, provide secure and confidential mailings of BORDERPOL publications to BORDERPOL members.
BORDERPOL does not disclose personal information to anyone. The BORDERPOL does not enter into any programs or services which require disclosure of member information.
BORDERPOL uses appropriate safeguards and comprehensive security controls that are appropriate to the sensitivity of personal information. Each of our officers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of all personal information to which they have access, and are required to sign agreements to keep your personal information confidential.
