Canada: COVID19 travel news

December 31, 2020

Canada: All passengers on flights entering Canada will now be required to test negative for COVID-19 three days before their arrival.

Intergovernmental Affairs Minister Dominic LeBlanc made the announcement at a news conference on Wednesday December 30, 2020.

He did not say when the requirement will be in place, though he says cabinet ministers moved quickly this morning to enact it.

Evidently the Canadian government is inept to the point it cannot even say when the requirement will actually be in place.

From our perspective this slow, late in application and frankly quite pathetic.
